Ign Talks About Lastest Wii Games In Pod Cast

Topics of discussion this week include May in Review, Manhunt 2, a Resident Evil 4-less week, Ubisoft's confession, the new wave of Naruto, a glance at next month's Wii hotness, Wii's mature content, and much, much more.

Ign in this pod cast gives great info on upcoming games like RE4 and Nanhunt2 and how these games help the wii have a more matrue image, unlike the game cub of last generations.
They also got the scoope on Ubisoft and why they were making crap games.
I wont spoil the whole pod cast so just download and listen.

More Updates On Smash Bros

If any one checked in to Smash Bros Dojo then they would have saw the updates on Nintendo’s highly anticipated game. The updates This Time around were two Items.
The super scope an old favorite from Smash Bros Melee, and a brand new weapon the cracker launcher.

We’ve included rapid-fire items like the Super Scope once again.

One of the so-called shooting items.
This time, though, you can walk and even jump while shooting these weapons!

Whoa! You can move forward and backward!

You can even shoot while jumping!
Freedom and ease of use have gotten a real upgrade.
This expansion also increases your possible strategies, so fire away!

The Cracker Launcher
This is a shooting item. Basically, you hold it in your arms.

Gotta heft this thing! Hurrrgh!
After you grab this item, it’ll rapidly release blast after blast of firecrackers that explode gaudily.

Whoooooooaaa!
You can walk around and jump while holding the launcher.
You can also aim the launcher at different angles by tilting the Control Stick up or down.

Fire up or down!
Be safe and sane when playing with fireworks.

Smash Bros Update

Hi I am Jhevani Dixon But I would like to be called Jhevman. Anyway today I am going to recap on all the latest info on Super Smash Bros Brawl.

So let’s start with our veterans fighter’s Mario and Link.

Mario: With his familiar red cap, blue overalls and bushy mustache, the world-famous "Mr. Video Game" is about to set foot on the Smash Bros. stage for the third time. An easy-to-use character, Mario sets the standard for balance. He overwhelms opponents with magnificent jumping action!

Link: The hero of The Legend of Zelda series. The design of this particular Link comes from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Link wields the Master Sword and a diverse arsenal of equipment. Use all of his weapons to adapt to the ebb and flow of battle.

Now here is some Info on newcomer Pit

Pit: The protagonist in Kid Icarus. Pit's Sacred Bow of Palutena is actually two blades combined. He can separate them or unite them at will for use in battle.
The arrows Pit's bow unleashes shoot out like beams of light. Players can control the curves of their trajectories.

They even have info about his special moves

Pit draws his bowstring taut...

And fires! The trajectory of the arrow can curve.
Steering up and down will bend the trajectory. His arrows travel as fast as light, though, so be quick. Very quick!

He's falling! Danger! ...But don't worry.

The "Wings of Icarus" allow Pit to fly freely through the sky!
In actuality, though, Pit is an angel who cannot ordinarily fly. After a while, he will fall, so be careful.
So far the only new Item we know about is the gooey Bomb
Gooey Bomb: The Gooey Bomb is a bomb that adheres to most things. It's an explosive encased in gummy goo. It's a little different from a Motion Sensing Bomb in the sense that it can attach itself not only to the terrain, but also to opponents.

When you hit someone with it...

It sticks to them! Get... GET IT OFF!

Then it explodes! Oh, the horror!
However, it's possible to get a Gooey Bomb that's stuck to you to stick to someone else.Touching someone as you pass by may very well cause it to migrate when you least expect it!

Pass it on! It may even get returned to sender...

Now you may wonder what a Final Smash is!

Final Smash: The Final Smash is a secret skill that can be performed but once…and only after obtaining an item called the Smash Ball, which is a precious item, indeed.
The basic gist of it? I suppose you could say it’s kind of like a powerful and personalized hammer. (Or maybe not…)
You can look forward to experiencing the glowing personality behind each of the many Final Smashes!

I-I… I want it!

Here is Mario’s Final Smash

So just what was that massive storm of flame Mario unleashed in the movie?
That was Mario's Final Smash, the Mario Finale!

He got a Smash Ball! Mario is standing by!

Ready?

Bam! Bam! BambambambamBAM!
The explosion launches out and expands vertically as it travels, so in order to inflict the most damage possible on enemies, it's best to release this from a slight floating or midair position on either the left or right side of the screen.
If Mario launches this at you, you'd better flee!

So far they only got info on one stage

BattleField

The basic style
"Battlefield" is the type of stage where you can enjoy the most basic of matches. There is one large platform with three pass-through platforms.Despite its simplistic design, it gives birth to a wide array of strategies during battle. This time, in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, many stages will undergo elaborate changes during battle. On Battlefield, the main platform will not change..

But then evening comes....

And then comes night.

You can brawl til dawn!
You'll play this level many times, so it's nice to see it change a little. The song called Menu 1 found under the topic The Musicians plays on this stage.

Smash and Brawl WILL come before December.

In an interview with Perrin Kaplan, via Game Informer:
GI: It seems like the core gamer is being left in the dust for this new gamer.
Kaplan: Reggie would tell you that we’re fully committed to the core gamer. You know it’s interesting. We have these arguments internally. Do we have too much expanded audience and not enough core? Do we have too much core and not enough expanded? Everybody on any given day has one opinion, and they can change their minds the next day. We’re figuring out what that balance is. By December I’d love to know if you still feel this way.
GI: By December I’d expect to have Smash Bros. Mario and Metroid out the door.
Kaplan: Tell me by November then.
Read the full interview here
It seems pretty straightforward that we should expect Metroid (obviously), Brawl, and Galaxy before December. I’m extremely looking forward to this summer/fall.

Personally I think this is great because Nintendo has had a good amount of Time to work on Super Smash Bros, and now we all know for sure were getting the game before December let alone 08.
