Forza Motorsport 2 Review
After finally getting Forza 2 from Eb Games on Tuesday, I was able to play after months of waiting. After hearing people complain that the game wasn’t as good as it was supposed to be, I got nervous and though that maybe buying it isn’t the best idea. But after playing I all my concerns were washed away.
The career mode is really addictive, and after playing for a couple of minutes, I could see a lot of changes from the first one. First of all, the menus are completely redesigned and look a lot better then they used to. In my opinion the music is also better then in the first one. But enough about menus, lets talk about game play.
I started of career mode in Europe (you choose regions). And after only a couple of races I was addicted. It is not like most games, where you don’t need a lot of skill to be a good racer, but you have to practice and then practice more. At fist I spent a lot of time getting used to the physics, but after a lap or two, I wasn’t doing to bad. The A.I. is really fun to race again, and respond well to what you are doing.
The graphics in the game are not amazing, and are not the best graphics I have ever seen, but they aren’t bad either. After hearing people complain that the graphics are horrible and that they weren’t what they should be, I was surprised to see that they were better then I expected.
Overall I really liked the game and I think that it has a lot to offer. After trying customizing, tuning and giving my car a custom paint job, I knew that I’d be playing this game for a while. It has everything that I think is needed to make a good game and more. Such as an auction house, for auctioning off my cars and difficulty options that anyone can change to match their driving skill.
If I were to rate this game, I would give it a 4.5 out of 5.
